Barry has been blessed to live no more than three hours from his place of birth in Lubbock, Texas.
There are many musical inspirations in West Texas. The lifestyle of West Texas, is a wonderful muse. But to add a little flavor, Barry has been blessed to be able to travel across the three countries of North America, and parts of Europe and the Middle East.
Barry didn't have to look far to find his musical influences. Mac Davis, The Gatlin Brothers, Waylon Jennings, Jimmy Dean, Tanya Tucker, Bob Wills, Earnest Tubb, Don Williams, and of course, Buddy Holly, were all born in, or close to, Lubbock, Texas.
He is very proud of both his
physical and his spiritual heritage. These things make him
who he is. And what you see is what you get. Yes, Barry
really does wake up in a good mood every morning. Yes, he
really does love life this much. And yes, his family really
is that important to him.
When not working, Barry
enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and family, gourmet
cooking, historic reenacting and working at his West Texas
Ranch.
